The second 11K & 3rd 11K, is together with the 4:00 pacers kaya there's a big drift sa speed ko, yung sa 3rd 11K eh nag-pa-iwan ako before 26K due to chest pain - kaya nag-slow down ako...

Last 11K, eh kasama na yung tinatamad due demoralization after na naiwan ng 4:00 pacer's group...

I never realized that my HR is too high kasi di naman ako hiningal, I can see high numbers sa monitor ko pero akala ko may problema lang sya...
But after 2:30 hrs of continuous running, I had felt some chest pain so I have to take it seriously very serious things happens...

My ave HR:
First 10 KM --> 179 BPM
2nd 10 KM --> 182 BPM
3rd 10 KM --> 175 BPM
4th 10 KM --> 163 BPM
Last 2KM --> 171 BPM

Aver HR ---> 173 BPM

maganda yan at may baseline kna 173bpm <- diyan ka nalang next time sa next marathon mo.
first 10km 168-173. then settle ka (170bpm to 175) last 5km 175bpm or depends sau

im not saying na absolute diyan ka sa HR mo mag pace
bigyan mo mas malaking pahalaga ang tuhod mo kung ano nararamdaman

madalas kaya ng cardiac kaso hindi nung muskoskeletal system mo

anyways congrats :D have fun under the sun hug

ito pala video ko sa event http://www.marathon-photos.com/scripts/event.py?event=Sports/2011/Singapore%20Marathon&match=78096&name=Ryan ang saya pala kung may video talaga
ako yung nka white cap blue shirt and black jogging pants :D jump

Hindi nga dre, chest pain during long run? yup really, we have to be serious about it. that's why it got me curious on "stress test" to know whether my heart can take it, on long runs b4 i started doing long runs. Went to National Heart Center for stress test. They took ecg of my heart prior to the test at saka pinatakbo ako sa treadmill with 7 stages, if I remembered it right. Prior to the test the nurse warned me that so far no one has reached stage 7 yet, among those who ran on that treadmill. Didnt tell her outright that I can beat it nagkamali . Sa madaling sabi pinatakbo ako simula mabagal, then gradually pabilis and had inclined the gradient simultaneously between stages. Come 6 stage, nurse is grinning, me making every effort to beat the stage. But, the doc did not let me finish the final stage, no wonder no one has ever beaten it. Doc said " We've got the data we want, no point finishing it, aint a race.. . The doc called me up after few days..said ""ok no problem"".. In short, it gives me some peace of mind whether my heart will always listen to me or rather I should listen to him... stumbled upon this site,, its a good read bro's...

Actually twice ko nang na-experience yan...

First is last year during cycling and second time last Sunday...

It happens kung my ave HR is more than 180 for 1 hour and by experience I know how to make it disappear also...
Never go above 175BPM...

That's what I did... hataw

Lahat naman ng tropa ay nag-lakasan this year...
Ang problema lang eh, celebrity ako... nagkamali

Kaya even 1 watt power improvements eh big deal sa group yon...

Anyways, simple lang ang training plan ko - keep riding with the PBB group... hataw
